Cosmos sur le labyrinthe
L’Echo républicain (26 juin 2011) a acclamé « l’étonnante chorégraphie » de l’interprétation de Lambert Vadrot de Cosmos à la cathédrale de Chartres, le 24 juin. Le danseur indien, se déplaçant sur le labyrinthe de la cathédrale, a franchi une nouvelle étape pour Cosmos devant des centaines de pèlerins qui étaient venus pour la « Nuit des Cathédrales », célébration de la nuit d’été, aussi l’anniversaire du prophète chrétien St. Jean Baptiste.
Programmé dans une soirée de théâtre, poésie, musique et lumière, Cosmos offrait un rendez-vous pour des adhérents des différentes religions et spiritualités. Les trois danses choisies pour la nuit étaient intercalées des textes sacrés tirés de la Bible, des Upanishads hindous et de la mystique et activitiste sociale chrétienne Madeleine Delbrel, qui ont été lus par Capucine Soupeaux et Xavier Caquineau. Cosmos on the labyrinth
The Echo républicain newspaper (26 June 2011) hailed the “astonishing choreography” of Lambert Vadrot’s interpretation of Cosmos at Chartres cathedral on 24th June. The Indian dancer, working on the labyrinth of the cathedral, brought Cosmos to new heights before hundreds of pilgrims who had come to the “Night of the Cathedrals”, a celebration of Midsummer’s Night, which is also the birthday of the Christian prophet St. John the Baptist.
In a programme which included theatre, poetry, music and light displays, Cosmos provided a meeting point for people of different religions and spiritualities. The three dances chosen for the night were interspersed with sacred texts from the Bible, the Hindu Upanishads and the Christian mystic and social activist Madeleine Delbrel, read by Capucine Soupeaux and Xavier Caquineau.
